Ath,
I saw the video in the video store just the other day and thought I should watch it again. It has been years since I last saw it. It will have new meaning, I am sure, this time around.

The mass of people so lost and yet so determinedly wandering after a shepherd who is so clearly to a few of us an internal mediator is (now) unspeakably sad.

We work with what we have; so we shall pray for our new leader and work where we can.

Zhivago is, IMO, a parable for us today.
