Invitation to Chivalry

Feeling tired and worn down by your battles with the world? Here is your invitation to Marian chivalry. Corpus Christianum is an international Private Association of the Faithful, open both to men and women, dedicated to praying for a renewal of Christendom.

Marian in character and guided by a Catholic chivalrous spirit, Corpus Christianum members pray daily for the following key points:

- The renewal, unity, and spread of Christendom
- The Supreme Pontiff and all priests/religious
- The protection of Christians around the world
- The restoration of the family
- The conversion of sinners and the sanctification of all people

Corpus Christianum will help develop the skills and craft of chivalry in a world and age that Pope Benedict XVI sees heading for a dark and foreboding future if the Christian faith is not espoused once more.

Join us. Be a part of service to our Lord and our Lady and the Church.

Gnosticism on Parade

This is a perfect example of the power of Gnosticism, alive and well even today. This is to say, the delusion that we as human beings can, through the power of our ability to imagine, create for ourselves ex nihilo our own realities.

None fall for this satanic ruse worse or more than those who "think" they hold the reins of political power, the purse-strings of mammon, or control public opinion.

But in the case of VP Biden, we see a case study of cafeteria Catholicism (sic.) that is foolish at best, doomed to perdition at worst.

Noël! Noël! Noël! Noël!

And for those of us fallible sorts - or, those of us who still find such things hilarious because they are a bit shocking - Hilaire Belloc bellies up to the bar in The Four Men to give us this garrulous and tainted-by-the-Fall carol for this the Ninth Day of Christmas:

Noël! Noël! Noël! Noël!
A Catholic tale have I to tell!
And a Christian song have I to sing
While all the bells in Arundel ring.

I pray good beef and I pray good beer
This holy night of all the year,
But I pray detestable drink for them
That give no honor to Bethlehem.

May all good fellows that here agree
Drink Audit Ale in heaven with me
And may all my enemies go to hell!

Noël! Noël! Noël! Noël!
May all my enemies go to hell! Noël! Noël!
