As a former Scout who attained Star (that is below Life and Eagle), Order of the Arrow, and hiked the south-central portion of Philmont National Scout Ranch, this story, Band of Scouting Misfits Attains Eagle Ranking, is reminder that the Boy Scouts of America is still a viable means to initiate boys into self-sufficient, skilled young men in our country. Regardless of how many subversive enemies the Boys Scouts are fighting, "BE PREPARED" is a motto that boys still aspire to in a hazard and danger filled world.

Boy Scouts Still Thrive
