Prayers Appreciated

Here is a depiction of Athos doing battle with his transitional cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis. Or rather, the follow up after the surgeon has done his best to rid me of the vile beastie. If you chance by this blog on your pilgrim journey, offer up a prayer for the soul of Athos, Mass'keteer, Pope's man, member of the chivalric order of Corpus Christianum, and one who has pledged fealty to Our Good Lord and the Blessed Virgin, Our Lady.

Dear Athos

From Portugal. For some time a reader of 4massketteers and Chronicles of Atlantis. For a somewhat longer time a ‘faithful’ Girardian (I think almost the sole one in my country, experience tells me) and last but not least, I wished Gil Bailie could speak Portuguese and make some venues in Portugal but I’m very happy with internet that allows all of us who know a bit of English to listen to his conferences. That’s great to me personally. I’m a physician and also a psychiatrist (in her almost sixties) and also a roman catholic (trying to be faithful in 'Eurabia')
I’ll pray for your battle with cancer, I promise. And thanks for the pleasure and great insights that all the ‘massketteers’ gave me.
Those awful cells in your pelvis made me post these few words for the first time in your blog (sorry for my ‘bit of English’ deficiency)

God bless you

Carmo (the equivalent in Portuguese for the Spanish Carmen – my godmother was a Spanish woman, Maria del Carmen)

I join my friend Carmo in lifting prayers to God on behalf of my old dear friend in this his time of trial.
May God be with him.

Dear Ath,

Prayers were lifted up at Mass this morning on your behalf.

BTW my computer cannot read your picture in this post. Is there another way to post it or send it to me?

Peace
Aramis
