Israel in Haiti

Why am I not surprised by this?

Israel can set up a complete field hospital, accept patients from under-prepared health facilities, and do it efficiently after traveling from half the world away?

Can we vote whether we want Israeli health care or not? Oh, I forgot. America is busy worrying about who wins in Massachusetts ...

Chronices I lived in Haiti in 2004 and worked there, as well, at the Hotel Montana which was utterly destroyed. (best hotel in the Port of Prince-Petionville area)

Interestingly enough the Israeli's consul's home and part of the embassy was in eye shot of the hotel which rests atop a mountain.

I would note there is alot of Palestinian and Arab influence in Haiti, be it a significant minority, and the corruption with the UN mandate, via that group, was endemically corrupt (i sold them telecom products)

As for Scott Brown, this would a shot her around the world, do not underestimate the signficance of this event.
