True, Beauty, and A. W. N. Pugin

When you get finished reading Régine Pernoud's masterful Those Terrible Middle Ages you will understand better the polemical and architectural viewpoint of A. W. N. Pugin.

Pugin raged against all things Classical (Pernoud as an world-class historian will explain). I can't argue. I can only admire Pugin's breathtaking expressions of truth, goodness, and beauty.
